This is a design for aging people to avoid eating expired food. By using a set of products to enhance their own ability like smelling, feeling, and visualizing in order to tell if the food is expired. Also, the product can be used as a reminder for them to remind when did they bought the food.

Reminder clip

The clip can be used on the different packages of the food and store in the fridge. The material itself will be polypropylene which can stay in the refrigerator for a long time. This plastic is tough and maybe stiff or flexible.

This is the sliding indicate of the clip. By sliding the red indicator on the top seniors can set up a day on it. There is only a letter “S” to represent Sunday, the rest of the days are represented by dots.

Enhancer seal
There is a round hole that can place a paper inside to form a cylinder tube. And it can be used as a seal for the milk. With the paper attach from outside of the fridge it won't have the smell of the fridge. The whole idea is about to simplify the devices in order to make seniors easier to understand and operate it.

By attaching a paper into the hole, will focus the smell of the milk and can enhance the smelling. And also the enhancer can be used for other food.

On the side of the device, there are two grips for seniors to grab. With the grip, it will be easier to slide on the milk container to seal it.
